Milestones

Generative AI chatbots on social media platforms have been fulfilling requests to make Child Sexual Abuse Material. Such chatbots must be banned, disabled or otherwise removed from public access until such a time as the government has received assurances that such material can no longer be produced.

It is unacceptable that while the AI chatbots and their social media platforms are being investigated over the production of this material, that the Child Sexual Abuse Material is continuing to be produced, and at an alarming rate. The Government must immediately intervene to protect its citizens from the current and continued exposure to such material while waiting for the AI chatbots’ functionality to be fixed.
