Milestones

We want the Government to provide funding to strengthen and enforce more reasonable adjustments in NHS primary care. This could include flexible appointments, longer consultations, quieter options, remote consultations, and home visits where surgery attendance is not possible.

Many autistic people, including children and adults, face barriers accessing GP services due to sensory environments, rigid appointment systems, and communication difficulties. These barriers can prevent access to essential healthcare. More reasonable adjustments could reduce health inequality.
