We believe that we all need to pay for road tax in a fair and consistent way. Pre 2017 vehicles only pay £20-£30 if their emissions are low. In our view, the minimum road tax should be £195 for all vehicles.
We think it's unfair to pay less tax for a car just because it's a bit older. The road network in the UK needs improvement and the lack of funds to maintain and build new roads is becoming an issue. Everyone needs to pay their way into the system if you plan to use the public road network.
