My brother was killed, and I do not think that the sentence that his killer received was long enough. We think the minimum sentence for all manslaughter cases should be 10 years time served, to provide justice for victims and their families. This should be known as Andrew's law.

We don’t want any more families to have to go through what we have. We also want the crime of manslaughter to be taken more seriously. Bringing in a minimum served sentence of 10 years will in our view be the first step in acknowledging the seriousness of the crime and the debating consequences it has on the families of the victim when lives are taken.
