We urge the UK Government to publicly call for the relocation of the UN headquarters in New York to Gaza. The UK, for historic reasons, has contributed to events that still have repercussions in Gaza and the Middle East. This proposal could ensure hope for local people and the future.
We believe the UK has an opportunity to help ensure a future that provides future funding for Gaza – the UN generates nearly $4 billion per year to New York City’s economy. As one of the five permanent Security Council members, the UK Government also represents Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories at the UN and the UK is the fifth-highest contributor to the UN’s budget.
