In our view, it should be unlawful to pass on inheritance of timeshares to heirs who were not aware about it, and who had not signed any contracts of ownership.
Many of those who inherit shares in a holiday timeshare were not included in the signing or negotiation for the timeshare, and are only made aware of the existence of the timeshare when they find out they have inherited it. We therefore call on ban on forcing timeshares to be inherited by heirs.
