Review whether symptomatic patients should be assessed using optimal ranges and cellular tests instead of standard reference ranges and serum tests. We are concerned that current tests might fail to reflect cellular or neurological dysfunction.
We are concerned that standard reference ranges and serum tests often fail to detect cellular or neurological dysfunction. Many symptomatic patients may be dismissed as “normal” despite significant impairment. This can lead to delayed diagnosis, preventable harm, disability, and rising healthcare costs. We believe symptom-led care using optimal ranges and cellular testing reflects modern science and protects patient safety.
