We would like the Government to change the theory test for learners with dyspraxia by: giving extra time for the hazard perception clips, providing alternative hazard perception formats (e.g. still frames + questions), the ability to pause or replay clips, and reducing penalties for early clicking.
We would also like the test to have a dyspraxia-specific adjustment category. I want the Government to do this because I believe it is unfair for people with dyspraxia to struggle when completing the theory test. Also, I believe the current theory test reduces their confidence, may discourage them from wanting to learn to drive, and cause them to be more dependent and reliant on other people or public transport.
