Key Word Signing is very common in special education settings, but we believe it needs to be brought in to all nurseries, primary schools and secondary schools, being taught alongside languages. In our view it has the potential to become a universal language and everyone would benefit.

Key Word Signing can greatly support those with learning difficulties and communication needs, and also people whose first language is not English. It can encourage a sense of community, interaction and inclusion. Everybody can benefit from learning it.
