Impose a 40% import duty on Japanese imports to show that the UK does not tolerate the killing of pilot whales and dolphins in Japan. This could significantly increase UK revenue by billions of pounds.
We believe the UK should do something about the slaughter of cetaceans in Japan every year, and the capture of cetaceans as part of the aquarium trade. Whales and dolphins hold valuable importance to our ocean ecosystem, and we feel they are being put at risk due to the hunts.
