Studies suggest that 50% of people do not donate to charity, therefore some charities do not receive enough funds to achieve their desired aim. All charities have important goals, so we feel this problem is not OK. If my idea becomes a law, people have to give a minimum of £50 annually to charity.

The following would be exempt from this law: minors, elderly, pensioners, people who are unable to work (due to mental and/or physical illness and/or disability), people who are unemployed for other reasons, homeless people, people living in poverty, and people with a low income. UK charities have important goals in mind and they need help from us, the citizens.
