Change current regulations in England to allow licensed producers to sell unpasteurised milk in supermarkets, with strict safety testing, proper refrigeration, clear labelling for consumers, and systems to trace products back to the source if needed.
Some consumers are increasingly interested in less processed food and in supporting small and local dairy farmers by allowing licensed sales of unpasteurised milk in supermarkets, with proper safety standards and clear labelling, would make it easier to access, while ensuring public safety and allowing adults decide to make their own informed decisions and respecting people's freedom to choose. This would also help shift sales into a properly regulated system.
