Milestones

We call on the Government to seek a global agreement that bans the development of artificial superintelligence and to encourage the establishment of a globally accepted safe path for developing advanced AI, ensuring strong safety standards and international coordination.

Some leaders of major AI companies and top experts have warned that advanced AI could pose significant risks. Some companies are actively pursuing superintelligence despite these warnings. The UK Government should act now to help prevent a dangerous global race and work with other nations to seek a safe, internationally coordinated approach to advanced AI development.
