I would like the Government to change how children in primary can reach the expected and greater depth writing standard by removing the factor that they must write in cursive handwriting.
We believe this is not inclusive for those children who have difficulty with hand writing. This puts up a barrier for children who are talented and creative writers but can't write in joined up handwriting. It serves no purpose and does not have a positive impact on the development of children’s writing.
