Pass a law which caps political donations at £1,000 per year from any individual, company or union. Introduce and fund £4 civic vouchers per voter each year, which citizens can direct to their chosen party as a donation. We believe democracy should be about people, not pounds.

Under this law, independent auditors should have powers to investigate, fine and prosecute breaches. Donations over £200 should also be publicly declared within 7 days. We believe big money dominates UK politics, and that parties rely on millionaires, corporations, unions and lobbyists, which can undermine trust. This proposal could level the playing field, end donor dominance, give new and smaller parties a fair chance, and restore trust by ensuring funding comes from voters, not big money.
