I would like the UK Government to make employee bonuses tax-free up to £5,000 per year to reward hard work, increase productivity, and support workers during rising living costs.

Bonuses are meant to reward performance and contribution, but currently a large portion is lost to income tax and National Insurance. Making bonuses tax-free up to £5,000 could incentivise productivity, improve morale, and help workers keep more of the rewards they earn. This could also encourage businesses to offer performance-based incentives and support economic growth.
