We call on the Government to align its bans on harmful chemicals in consumer products with those of the EU, unless a UK assessment proves them safe. We also call on the Government to apply to rejoin the EU Safety Gate alert system.

One opinion poll conducted by Chem trust suggests that 63% of the UK public, oppose any reduction in chemical safety standards.
