The UK claims that it is only taking defensive action in the Israel-US & Iran war. We think that letting the US use British bases does not align with this claim, that it is not in our interest and does not support peace in the region. Stop the US use of bases in all capacities, including defensive.
The Prime Minister has stated that the UK will not be involved in offensive action. We think that the US cannot be trusted to keep the use of British bases for ‘defence’ only. Iran has already shown intent to strike down any US operations in the region. We are concerned that allowing the US to operate from British bases in any capacity may increase the risk of Britain becoming a target. This is not what the people want.
