Allow companies to drill gas and oil in our own country and in the North Sea, stop relying on energy from other countries. We can be self sufficient.

It could benefit the environment as it won't have to be transported thousands of miles, it could create many UK based jobs. The conflict in Iran has only demonstrated how important it is to be self sufficient as we now are suffering supply chain issues. It could also drive down costs to the consumer benefiting all who live here in the UK.
