Each week MPs are allowed to ask questions of the PM, but the British public don’t get an opportunity to ask questions about issues that matter to them. My suggestion is to hold Covid-style televised briefings each month where the public can submit written or video questions to the PM.

This could improve engagement and trust in the Government by giving the British people an opportunity to hold the PM to account directly.
