Seek to cooperate with the EU to examine areas where we rely upon American products and services and work to remove those dependencies.
We believe it would be hugely negligent to not be looking into this and the government should immediately open talks with the EU about this as a matter of urgent national security. We should move critical payment and software systems to European companies. Areas such as cloud computing, semiconductors, vaccines, LNG, armaments, soya beans and more need either European production or alternative suppliers.
