I want the Government to ensure that saliva tests to diagnose endometriosis are made freely available on the NHS across the country as part of its general diagnostic care for women’s health
We believe our current diagnosis system is showing failure after failure to protect women and girls. Some reports state that it takes 6-8 years to be diagnosed with a chronic painful, but treatable condition. These simple saliva tests could, we believe, not only help so many women who live the majority of their lives in agony but will free up NHS GP wait lists, and relieve so much pressure that our health service experiences
