Milestones

The Government should reduce fuel duty and remove VAT from petrol and diesel to make fuel more affordable for drivers across the UK.

Fuel prices in the UK are significantly increased by fuel duty and VAT, making it expensive for individuals, families and businesses to travel and operate. Many people rely on cars for work, commuting and daily life, especially in areas with limited public transport. Reducing fuel duty and removing VAT on fuel would help ease the cost-of-living pressures, support small businesses, and make transportation more affordable for millions of drivers across the country.
