We call on the Government to fund, and make mandatory, dedicated support for vulnerable parents involved in social services investigations. We think it is essential that these parents have proper support and knowledge of their rights through what can be a very challenging process.

We also think social workers should be offered more training on how to best deal with vulnerable parents, and that they should be made to wear body cameras so that any improper behaviour can be scrutinised.
