I believe the government ought to prohibit fixed-term employment contracts, making permanent employment the only option.
I believe the government should ban fixed-term employment contracts, so that only permanent positions are available. Many of the jobs I see are limited to one or two-year contracts, which means I might have to search for a new job once the contract ends. This situation makes it difficult to plan for the future as I cannot rely on being in the same role past that point.
