Milestones

Lower the bowel cancer screening age from 50 to 25. There is a huge increase in younger people being diagnosed with bowel cancer with one in every 20 cases being in someone under 50.

Some people are only finding out they have bowel cancer when it has reached the later stages such as stage 3 and above. There are people with young families having to deal with the tough process of chemotherapy and other treatments. There is also an increased risk of secondary cancer if bowel cancer is not diagnosed fast enough.
