We want the UK Government to fund a nationwide road safety campaign to protect children. It should teach drivers, parents, and children about safe behaviour near roads, highlight the risks faced by young pedestrians and cyclists, and encourage safer driving near schools and residential areas.
We want every child to feel safe travelling to school. A national campaign could help keep us and our friends safe. Every day, children are killed or injured on UK roads. Awareness of road safety rules and hazards can save lives. A national campaign could provide consistent messaging across the country, stress careful driving near schools, and give practical safety tips. The Government can help prevent accidents and make roads safer for every child.
