We want the Government to amend the Abortion Act 1967 so that abortions after 21 weeks are illegal if the mother’s life is not threatened. We believe that no-one should have the right to take away another being’s liberty and life just because they don’t want them alive.
However, we feel that making abortion illegal is not palatable to the British public, neither is decriminalising abortion up to birth. We believe that those who are pro-choice and pro-life should compromise and agree to have the abortion limit set at 21 weeks, as by that stage of development unborn children may be able to live if they were birthed.
