I would like the government to stop letting lateness for school affect attendance percentages and ban schools from issuing fines because a child is late. Some children suffer getting into school and have SEN or anxiety.
I believe it's unfair for parents to be told "get them in when you can" and for it then to go against attendance and be fined for it. We are concerned that many parents are suffering and being penalised.
