Many students cannot study during weekdays due to work or childcare, especially single parents. The Government should reform maintenance loans to support weekend and flexible learners equally. Fair access to funding would help more people enter education and improve their future.

Many students cannot study during weekdays due to work or childcare, especially single parents. The Government should reform maintenance loans to support weekend and flexible learners equally. Fair access to funding would help more people enter education and improve their future. This change would also help address skills shortages in key sectors by enabling more adults to retrain and gain qualifications, benefiting both the economy and local communities.
