Milestones

We want the Government to review how child removal decisions are made under an interim care order, to establish processes to guarantee that they are based on verified evidence, proper safeguarding checks, and fair process.

There are concerns that children can be separated from a parent after unverified or false reports without a full and fair investigation. We believe stronger safeguards are needed to protect children’s welfare, ensure decisions are evidence-based, and make sure parents are treated fairly. This petition is about improving the process for all families
