Milestones

We want the Government to set up a new fund for local councils to revitalise their High Streets and town centres, which currently are experiencing a strikingly low footfall and loss of local shops.

We believe the High Street issue is bigger than many think and current Government funds are insufficient. This isn't about a return to tradition; we feel it's about bringing hope to local communities who can look for a place to socialise and celebrate the town's local culture. It can provide a safe haven for local businesses and entrepreneurs to feel empowered to begin new cafes, retail stores and more. This can make communities stronger together, whilst also making sure that the economy can benefit from increased enterprise.
