Milestones

With ongoing wars pushing up global energy prices and increasing reliance on volatile imports, we call on the Government to immediately lift the ban on new oil and gas exploration licences, approve viable projects and support domestic drilling to secure affordable energy for families and businesses.

We believe this will strengthen energy security, protect jobs, generate tax revenue for public services and reduce exposure to international crises while we transition to renewables and scale up nuclear. Recent maps show we have significant untapped potential that we feel should be responsibly developed now. In an unstable world, energy security is national security.
