Milestones

We want a review of what support GPs and sexual health clinics provide regarding the unwanted effects of birth control. There should be more investigation into what is causing said symptoms, and more support and care for these symptoms, such as medication or switching to a different method.

We believe a lack of emphasis on the side effects of birth control is incredibly damaging. We feel the NHS can be very dismissive of this matter, often guessing rather than providing informed estimates on how a medication may affect a specific individual. This is causing young people and women alike to suffer the consequences through unnecessary trauma. With all the technology provided, it should not be a guessing game or down to women to figure it out and risk horrific side effects.
