I want the grounds in which parental responsibility can be removed to change. Some children may be exposed to numerous disturbing things due to a parent and are highly traumatised due to this. I think it's wrong that this is only possible after something like murder for this to actually happen.
There are children who live in fear of a parent daily, whether it be mum or dad and they still have responsibility over that child. There are cases where a child has been exposed to multiple violent episodes, pornography, taken on drug deals, and asked sexual questions by a parent, yet they still have parental rights over the child, and there are parents in worse situations. This is why I feel this would be a strongly supported petition.
