Milestones

We want the Government to introduce a strategy to ensure public services are accessible and coordinated for vulnerable people. This includes improving communication between departments and ensuring those without digital access are not excluded from housing, support, or legal rights.

Vulnerable people, including those who are homeless or experiencing domestic abuse, often face complex systems requiring repeated applications across multiple departments. These systems often assume access to email, phones, and stable housing, which many do not have. This can result in exclusion from basic support and rights. A more accessible and joined-up system is needed to protect fairness and dignity.
