We want the Government to increase the £23,500 Upper Capital Threshold to qualify for financial assistance for social care by at least the rate of inflation. We believe it’s wrong that since 2010 it's not increased. If it shad increased, it would be over £37,000 by now.
People work all their life to buy a home or save to help their children only to become old and frail & then have to sell their homes to pay for care. Some may then only leave £23,250 for their children and loved ones minus their funeral expenses.
