In our view, America and Israel's war on Iran risks: - causing steep increases in the price of food and utilities - precipitating a UK recession and causing economic hardship for millions - making foreign travel more expensive or difficult (not least due to a potential shortage of jet fuel) - increasing Islamophobia and antisemitism by further polarising communities - increasing the risk of Britain becoming involved in a major global conflict that places our infrastructure and country at risk
