The Government should provide funding and a national framework for "Low-Demand School Hubs" specifically designed for students with Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
Current "inclusion bases" within mainstream schools are often insufficient—acting like a band-aid on a broken leg. Students with these profiles require an environment built on autonomy, collaborative communication, and sensory regulation, rather than the high-pressure, rigid structures of traditional education.
