We call on the Government to remove the age verification requirements introduced by the Online Safety Act, as we believe that parents should be in charge not the companies as it can be wrong and restrict the wrong people!
People may not want to share their ID to these companies due to concern for their privacy or leaks! In our view, kids could easily bypass it by getting their parents ID which would be their parents fault, so their parents are allowing them to bypass. This is why we think this should be removed and the parents should check what their kid is doing! At the end of the day they can help the kid bypass it.
