Hold a referendum on proposals for closer ties to the European Union, and commit to holding a referendum on any future proposals for closer ties, including if the government decided it wanted the UK to become a full EU member state.

Because the current Government are making decisions to have closer ties to the EU without asking the electorate via a referendum.
