Milestones

Make aneurysm screening available for women from the ages of 65 onwards as it is now for men. As an employee of the NHS on our ward alone there has been 5 women in the last 9 months with such aneurysms, only picked up by scans and checks for other medical reasons. We believe this needs to change.

Aneurysms are a silent killer and as I said in my previous statement 5 women in the last 9 months on our ward that we work on have be found to have aneurysms from a scan/check from another medical reason. Women's lives are just as important as men's and we all should be treated equally.
