Require secondary and further education teachers to disclose AI usage when a significant portion of a class material, such as a handout sheet, presentation, images and videos, have been generated using Artificial Intelligence. We think AI sits in an ethical and legal grey-area due to how it is made.
AI use is seen by many as lazy and unprofessional due to the speed it can output content at. AI can also get information wrong or skip out on needed context, which can be important when teaching certain topics. AI generated work also needs to be checked for misinformation which oftentimes eliminates the potential time save of AI generated content.
