Introduce regulations to restrict or prohibit babies and young children in nail salons due to exposure to chemical fumes and substances used in treatments, to protect their health and reduce potential harm.
I am concerned about the health of babies and young children exposed to the chemical fumes in nail salons. I recently saw an 8-week-old baby coughing, crying and very distressed in this environment which was upsetting to witness. Nail salons often contain strong fumes that may harm developing lungs, so we believe protections are needed.
