Milestones

We want the government to review slaughterhouse oversight. - More accountability for facilities & individuals found in breach of animal welfare laws - Increased transparency of inspections & enforcement actions - Review the role, structure & accountability of the Food Standards Agency

Recent undercover investigations have raised questions about whether current monitoring systems are effective. Video evidence showed animals suffering severe welfare violations in facilities where official inspectors and veterinary personnel were present. This raises fundamental concerns about transparency, accountability, and the effectiveness of existing enforcement mechanisms. The UK claims it’s a nation of animal lovers. We must do better!
