We call for a referendum on whether the United Kingdom should rejoin the European Union after the Brexit referendum, giving the public a fresh, informed choice based on current realities and future needs.
We support this because circumstances have changed since the Brexit referendum. A new vote would allow people in the United Kingdom to weigh economic impacts, trade barriers, and lost opportunities such as free movement. It would strengthen democracy by letting voters decide with real-world evidence, while setting a clearer long-term direction for the country's economy, global role, and future generations.
