I want the Government to abolish Ofsted. I believe the existence of Ofsted is the single most limiting factor in progressing education within this nation. Removing what I believe is its toxic influence would allow schools to thrive.

I have been in education since 1997; a class teacher, local authority education consultant, assistant head, deputy headteacher & headteacher. I can safely say the most disruptive & toxic part of working in education has always been the over-influence of Ofsted. I believe removing this organisation will demonstrate to the sector how the current Government wishes a more inclusive educational mainstream sector and will show who is actually in charge of education.
