We propose a regulatory cap on concert ticket prices. Analysis should be undertaken to ensure that the cost aligns with the average fan's ability to pay. Organizations such as the Competition and Markets Authority set guidelines that promote fairness in ticket prices and accessibility.
The ever-increasing cost of concerts has made it nearly impossible for fans like me to attend even once a year. Popular artists such as Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo are charging hundreds of pounds for seats that aren't even close to the stage. We believe this isn’t justifiable or fair. Prohibitive ticket pricing is excluding many from experiencing the joy of live music, a cultural cornerstone that transcends socioeconomic barriers.
