I want the Government to review all employment laws to ensure all forms of unfair treatment in the workplace are treated equally – not mainly those linked to protected characteristics. I feel employees facing unfair or targeted treatment should have equal legal protection and access to justice.
Many employees experience unfair treatment, bullying or exclusion at work that may not fall under protected characteristics in the Equality Act 2010. I believe this can leave workers without proper legal protection or support. I believe all forms of unfair treatment & bullying in the workplace should be taken seriously and addressed equally under employment law to create fairer, safer, and more respectful workplaces for everyone.
