Make a law that companies hiring for roles paying under £15 an hour can’t hold more than one interview round, and must prioritise those currently on Universal Credit. All jobs under this threshold must be posted to JobCentre sites.

Many companies are hosting multiple interview rounds for basic wage jobs. We think this wastes interviewee time and where that individual is on UC, government funds. Many people applying for those roles are willing to get back into work ASAP, and able to do the role, that’s all that’s necessary for those roles. £15 an hour is above minimum wage but we think a fair threshold and helps those willing to take any role, even if they’re over qualified, because they want to work, pay their bills, and carry out their normal life.
